RogerBEARDPassed away peacefully at home on Thursday 1st January, aged 76 years.

Much loved Husband of Susan and a loving Father to Richard. Will be sadly missed by all family and friends.

Service will be held at Gloucester Crematorium on Monday 26th January at 3pm.

Family flowers only, but donations in lieu for the British Heart Foundation may be given on the day.

Very sorry to hear the passing of the legend in table tennos namely Roger Beard, who I had the pleasure of playing for many decades, mostly in the Gloucester league. Roger was a lovely modest guy of a supreme talent and always ready to give excellent advice to his team mates and he will be sdaly missed by everyone who knew him as a friend and I count myself to be one of the legion of friends who benefitted from just knoqing him. Sincere condolences to his family and friends.but he will live on in the memory of us all and will never be forgotten.
